Terms & Conditions
By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions:
- The promoter is: Wendy Astrid Photography.
- The competition is open to residents of Melbourne, Australia, aged 18+ years.
- There is no entry fee and no purchase is necessary to enter this giveaway.
- Entry for the competition is via the WendyAstrid Photography pop up page form.
- Closing date for entry is last day of every month.
- Winner is announced the first week of every month via text or email. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 5 days of notification, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
- The winners must not have had a photography session within 1 year of this competition or be booked into a photography session this year.
- No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received for whatever reason.
To Enter Competition:
A refundable deposit of $100 is required to reserve a photography session date (deposit will be refunded on condition session is attended by all relevant parties and image reveal appointment is attended by all decision makers).
The promoter reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of any emergency or an event outside the promoter’s control. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the promoter.
The promoter is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
Prize consists of session fee ($200) and a fine art matted portrait ($300) or value can be used towards other products/artwork. The prize is as stated and no cash or other alternatives will be offered.
The prizes are not transferable and cover immediately family only. Extended family will incur a fee.
Session must be booked in within 1 week of winner announcement and take place within 3 months from prize draw (not applicable to newborns).
If entry is for maternity or newborn session, you must be due in over a month from end of current month.
Photographer will travel a maximum of 45 minutes one way.
All images and copyrights are the property of WendyAstrid Photography by Wendy Fonseka. In exchange for services provided, the photographer has the right to use photographs taken from your session in any media worldwide including online.
Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current Australian data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
Information gathered via this competition will be shared amongst promoters only. By filling out this form you’re agreeing to have your email and phone number used in potential email marketing from the promoter. We will never share your information. We take your privacy very seriously.
If an illness or emergency situation prevents a session from taking place, client may reschedule their session once with at least 24 hours prior to their shoot without penalty. Should client fail to give 24 hours notice or decide to completely cancel the shoot, the deposit paid is forfeited and will not be refunded. Photographer reserves the right to reschedule due to illness, weather, equipment malfunction, or other circumstances beyond their control.
Session starts at the agreed upon time. If you are running late, please let the Photographer know, your session may need to be rescheduled if you arrive over 15 minutes late, this will result in lost session time. If your session must be rescheduled your deposit will be forfeited and another deposit will need to be paid again to reserve a new date.
If you or someone in your home is sick, you must reschedule. If you arrive sick, the session will be cancelled and rescheduled and deposit is forfeited.
